Introduction

GoVPN ("we", "us", or "our") is a free, ad-supported VPN application for Android, owned and operated by H93Lab.com (package name com.h93lab.govpn). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By installing or using GoVPN, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We are committed to keeping data collection to the minimum required to operate the service. GoVPN does not require you to create an account or provide any personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number.

Information We Collect

To provide and maintain the VPN service, we collect the following limited information:

• Anonymous user ID — a randomly generated identifier created for your device. It is not linked to your real identity and is used only to manage your VPN session.
• IP address — your device's public IP address, used to provide the service and to determine your approximate region.
• Country code — your country, derived from your IP address, used to understand where the service is being used.

We do not log, store, or monitor the websites you visit, the content of your traffic, or your browsing history through the VPN tunnel.

How We Use Information

The limited information we collect is used solely to:

• Provide the VPN service — establish and maintain a secure WireGuard connection to our server.
• Connection tracking — record whether your device is currently connected so we can operate and maintain the service reliably.
• Service improvement — understand aggregate usage (such as country of use) to keep the service available and stable.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for profiling or targeted advertising on our part.

Third-Party Services

GoVPN relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — we display advertisements through Google AdMob to keep GoVPN free. AdMob may collect and process data (such as device identifiers) to serve ads. Please review Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• WireGuard — GoVPN uses the WireGuard® protocol to establish the encrypted VPN tunnel. WireGuard is a registered trademark of Jason A. Donenfeld.
• ipify.org — used to detect the device's public IP address. Your device's IP address is sent to ipify to obtain it. See the ipify website.
• ipapi.co — used to determine your country from your IP address. Your device's IP address is sent to ipapi.co for this lookup. See the ipapi.co Privacy Policy.

Data Security

Your VPN traffic is encrypted using the modern WireGuard protocol. The limited data we store is held on secured infrastructure, and configuration data cached on your device is kept in your device's encrypted storage. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Data Retention

We retain the anonymous user ID, IP address, and country code only for as long as necessary to operate the service. Because the identifier is anonymous and not tied to your identity, the data cannot be used to personally identify you. You can stop all collection at any time by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

GoVPN is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of GoVPN after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
